About Me
My name is Michael O’Shane and I am a vampire.
I was born in Kilkenny, Ireland in the year 1847 and spent a majority of my mortal life immersed in linguistics studies. For several years, I taught both university and college until my thirty-second year on this mortal coil. That is when I met my maker, Sabrina.
I was made immortal in 1880 and spent over seventy years traveling the world and learning its culture and languages before parting ways with Sabrina. For the next thirteen years, I traveled by myself until called by Sabrina to be a second-in-command in her newly formed coven. This was when life became especially interesting to me.
When my brother, Peter, became immortal, our vampire maker brought a seer into the immortal world and from there, I have been a brother and guardian to him. When I took over Sabrina’s coven in Philadelphia as its master, he became my second, and even though he is no longer my right hand man, we have forged a family through his union to Victor. I might have resigned as a coven master, but I have so many more things which have enriched my life now.
I have Lily, my bonded, and Lydia, my betrothed. I have Victor, my brother and lover, and all of the other faces which mark the heart of this Irishman. Peter and John, and Flynn as well, even if things between him and I are estranged. We live in San Francisco for now, but the excitement of life often takes us other places and heaven only knows where each century that passes will find us. The landscape of the world is changing, but the bonds we have forged will outlast it all.
I write about us in my journals. It is my sincere hope that the people who find these volumes someday will see an illustration of life, love, and adventure in the pages they read.
